Just Salad, Chestnut Hill

JJ Welch completed the buildout of Just Salad’s Chestnut Hill location within a highly trafficked shopping complex. This project marks the fifth Just Salad restaurant renovation delivered within our portfolio, a modern, brand-forward restaurant while integrating seamlessly into an occupied, high-end retail setting.

On an aggressive schedule, the team completed a full interior gut renovation to meet Just Salad’s brand standards. The scope included installation of two rooftop units (RTUs) and air handling units (AHUs), requiring rooftop coring through the landlord’s office space above. To reduce impact on neighboring tenants and the surrounding community, select demolition and rooftop activities were performed during off-hours. Proactive planning, detailed logistics coordination, and clear communication allowed the team to maintain momentum in a highly active retail environment.
