Assistant Project Manager

In this role, you’ll:

  • Support the Project Manager in all phases of construction, from planning to closeout.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and our internal team.
  • Set up construction site with trailer, fencing, etc.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, meeting minutes, daily reports and submittals utilizing Procore.

Project Superintendent

If you want to be part of a growing company made up of passionate, team-oriented individuals who love what they do and have fun doing it, JJ Welch is the place for you.  We are seeking qualified project superintendents with a solid background in commercial, restaurant and retail construction, ground-up and renovation that span throughout New England. Our projects range from $100K – $5M. Candidates must be client focused, deadline-driven with excellent communication skills and knowledge of jobsite safety.

You must have a minimum of 5 years of  commercial construction experience in renovation and ground-up projects. Must be proficient in Procore.

Responsibilities

Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and vendors
Manage and update overall project schedule
Provide three week look-aheads
Schedule building Inspections
Onsite coordination of material delivery
Prepare daily logs
Review project plans and specifications
Review shop drawings and submittals
Responsible for quality control and completion of punch lists
Conduct weekly site and safety meetings/OSHA compliance

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of construction experience
Restaurant experience
Must be OSHA certified
MA Construction Supervisors License
Proficient in Procore, M.S. Project, Excel, and Outlook
Demonstrate high level of professionalism with strong verbal/written and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving, managerial and communication skills
Knowledge of current building and construction codes
Strong computer skills
Demonstrated knowledge of safe construction practices
Willingness to travel to throughout the New England area
