JJWelch partnered with Sloomoo Institute to deliver their first-ever MiniMoo, located in the heart of Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall. This compact experience joins Sloomoo’s six full-size locations nationwide and brings their signature, hands-on slime environment to one of the city’s busiest destinations.
The project transformed a character-rich space featuring exposed brick and open wood-beam ceilings. JJWelch fabricated curved walls with bendable headers onsite and installed extensive custom millwork that reflects the playful Sloomoo brand while working cohesively within the existing architecture.
Building in Faneuil Hall required a highly coordinated approach. This careful planning ensured smooth progress despite the location’s logistical constraints.
The finished space delivers a bright, tactile environment for slime-making, classes, and sensory experiences, an interactive addition to one of Boston’s most iconic gathering places.
